Types of electronic keyboards

Arranger keyboard: The most preferable keyboard for the beginers is an Arranger type of Keyboard. We can have different options for different instruments like violin,flute drumes,piano etc in a single device. So it is more popular than other keyboards.It also consists of various built-in musical styles and the buttons like Start,Stop,Intro,Fill-in,Ending adds variations in the build-in styles to make them sound realistic. These are available with 88,61,49,37 even lesser number of keys.But for the beginers keyboard with 61 keys is most preferable.It has 5 octaves.

Keyboard Synthesizer: It is similar to that of arranger but they are expensive.keyboard synthesizres are for the users who are somehow in the field of music. It does not have built-in accompanments and sound but rich and amazing sound can be created.Sound can be generated in two ways,Analog synth and Sample pleyback synth.Sample playback synth provides more into jazz, pop or orchestral type of music.Anolog synthesizors are for those who loves doing dance,trance and techno type of music.The knobs,sliders and buttons are provided to the synthesizor which changes the audio waveforms created by the basic sound generating elements.In this way desired sound can be created.they are mostly used in studios or played in bands.the most interesting feature available with keyboard synthesizor is provision for arpeggiator.Because of which verity of phrases and arpeggio patterns can be played using just one finger.they are available with 61,76,88 or less than 61 keys.61 key keyboard is most significant to use.

Music Workstations: It's a Synthesizer, Sequencer, Sampler all rolled into one instrument.It can be called as portable music studio.music workstations should have following features: 1:should be able to record and edit your composition. 2:creat,edit,storeand play back the sound. 3:aply effect like reverbs delays etc. Music workstations are mostly used for the live perfomenses.
