Doghat (Patiala)

Doghat is a village in Patiala district (and tehsil) of Punjab in India. According to Census 2011 information, the location code or village code of Doghat is 036515. It is situated 15 kilometers away from Patiala (both district and sub-district headquarter of Doghat village. Also nearby villages of Doghat are Lachkani, Lang, Kath Mathi, Kishanpur(Bakhshiwala), Hirdapur, Kheri Manian, Balipur, Dharamkot, Mundkhera, Rakhra and Chandanpur.

In Doghat village, there is a Gurdwara Sahib (Gurudwara Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji), also, there is a Hanuman Mandir neary in the middle of the village. Moreover, there is water tank situated on the way to neaby village called Bakhshiwala, which provides water supply to almost whole of the village. People from different castes and religions live here collaboratively.
