The holy shrine of Lainingthou Sanamahi Kiyong dedicated to Meitei deity Lainingthou Sanamahi, built in the hilltop of the Nongmaiching Ching (Meitei for 'Nongmaiching mountain') was inaugurated in 2019, with the aim of expanding the same as Sanamahi Lainingkol (Meitei for 'University of Sanamahi Culture').
