Tory Tunnell is a film and television producer based in Los Angeles. In 2005, she co-founded Safehouse Pictures, which is a film and television production company she runs with writer/director Joby Harold.

Under the Safehouse banner, Tunnell produced HOLY ROLLERS, starring Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Bartha, Ari Graynor and Q-Tip which was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival; TRUMBO, starring Joan Allen, Michael Douglas, Brian Dennehy, Paul Giamatti, Nathan Lane, Josh Lucas, Liam Neeson, David Strathairn, and Donald Sutherland. Trumbo premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and received widespread critical acclaim from top critics at publications such as The New York Times [1] and The Hollywood Reporter[2]; THE BLEEDING HOUSE directed by Phillip Gelatt which premiered at the Tribeca FIlm Festival in 2011 and was released theatrically through Tribeca Film in the US.

In 2010, it was announced that Tunnell will produce a comedy entitled Mommy & Me with Meryl Streep and Tina Fey starring. The film is being directed by Stanley Tucci.[3] as well as "Fountain City" with Andrew Adamson directing and partner Joby Harold writing. [4].
