Julia Rogers Hamrick (born February 27, 1954) is a published author of spiritually inspiring books including Recreating Eden (New Realities Publishing, 2004) and Choosing Easy World (St Martin's Press, 2010).
Biography and Career
[edit]Julia Rogers Hamrick, the youngest of three siblings, was born in Lexington, North Carolina, to Robert and Rebecca Rogers. Her father was an office worker for the same company for decades, and her mother was a homemaker. Hamrick graduated from Lexington High School and attended college.
In 1981, she applied for and was accepted as an art and English teacher at a bilingual high school in Japan. It was while working in Japan that she first developed symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.
