Professor Aharon Aviram is a Philosopher of Education at Ben-gurion University. He is also a Educational futurist and the head of The Center for Futurism in Education. Aviram published many articles on Education mainly on philosophy of Education, the impact of ICT on Education, Nietzsche as an Educator, the effects of Postmodernism on Education, Education in the Digital Age and about personal Autonomy as the main purpose of Education in a postmodern society. aviram most important publication in English is Navigating through the Storm: Education in Postmodern Democratic Society, published by Sense Publishers in 2010. He also co edited with Janice Richardson the book: Upon What Does the Turtle Stand? Rethinking Education for the Digital Age.
