Prayashu Halder (born on 2 August 1991 in Barrackpore, West Bengal) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Mohun Bagan A.C. on loan from Southern Samity in the I-League.

Career

Halder born in Barrackpore, West Bengal, his father, Prabhat Halder, is an ex-player of West Bengal Police, where he played for 10 years. He started playing football since he was 6-7 years old at the Latbagan Mangal Pandey Udyan Football Coaching Center. Later on, he represented United Sports Club in the I-League U19 where he played as both attacking as well as defensive midfielder. He joined West Bengal Police in 2009 where he played for 2 seasons. In the season 2011-12 and 2012-13, he played for Kalighat MS and Railway FC. He played most of the games for Kalighat MS in the I-League 2nd Division. In 2013 he joined Southern Samity where he performed quite well under the coaching of Sasthi Duley.[1]

On 28th December 2013 Halder signed for Mohun Bagan A.C. on loan from Southern Samity.[2]
