Melveger is a member of the AAMI Sterilization Residuals Working Group of the American Association for Medical Instrumentation. This group formulated an AAMI Technical Information Report that provides additional guidance to “ANSI/AAMI/ISO 10993-7, Biological evaluation of medical devices - Part 7.Ethylene oxide sterilization residuals”. This report includes a flow chart that guides the application of the standards specified in ANSI/AAMI/ISO 10993-7.
