Gus Kyriakos is a Greek virtuoso guitarist born on the 31st of October 2003. He first became attracted to the instrument when he was 6 years old and became a student of Dimitris Kekkos. He first started playing classical guitar, but when he was 16 years old picked up the electric guitar to perform for a school event. He has performed in many concerts for the Greek national Conservatory and performed for judges such as Evangellos Boudounis. After 9 years of constant practicing and dedication to the instrument, he felt uninspired by the fact that it had become a routine and abandoned it for 15 months. After picking up guitar again, he became a self-taught virtuoso on the electric guitar by studying and transcribing the works of artists such as Yngwie Malmsteen and J.S Bach. His debut album will be released in summer of 2021. It is purely neoclassical and contains parts of classical pieces.
