I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Welcome to WikiProject Catholicism!
[edit]Hello, Guldenat/Talk/Archive, and welcome to Wikiproject Catholicism! Thank you for your generous offer to help contribute. I'm sure your input will be much appreciated. I hope you enjoy contributing here and being a Catholic Project Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to discuss anything on the project talk page, or to leave a message on my own talk page. Please remember to sign all your comments, and be bold with your edits. Again, welcome, and happy editing! Thw1309 05:11, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
This empty page is no problem. As the creator, you can ask for the speedy deletion. Just add {{db-author}} and an administrator will delete it. --Thw1309 04:20, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Hey, I've reported these two accounts to Admin Intervention against Vandalism - no use messing with this person. (sigh.) Jackollie (talk) 05:08, 18 December 2007 (UTC)
RE:Themagicannexe
[edit]Well, for previously deleted pages that are recreated I think the practice is to speedy them again. Sorry if I interrupted any greater plans. Master of Puppets Care to share? 22:02, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

Thank you! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aaronpon (talk • contribs) 05:50, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Note I blocked Aaronpon indef for using sockpuppetry for vandalism, impersonating as an admin, etc. I'm sorry you got confused, thinking that Aaronpon is an admin. Special:Listadmins lists them all. Thanks Secret account 13:37, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
AIV report
[edit]I formatted your report correctly, using the template {{vandal}}. Putting your reports the following way helps administrators act on the issue quicker by having access to a particular user's logs and other relevant links. Cheers, Spebi 07:03, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
* {{vandal|Example User}}; ''brief description of their behaviour. ~~~~
or for IP addresses
* {{IPvandal|127.0.0.0}}; ''brief description of their behaviour. ~~~~
Good call. This guy has exhausted patience, and a short block is called for Mayalld (talk) 14:25, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- And given the grossly abusive attack on the admin that deleted the page, richly deserves the indef block that he just got! Mayalld (talk) 14:31, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

RFA Standards
[edit]Yeah, in my experience, someone without at least 2000 total edits won't get the mop. See Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Cobi 2. He had about 1800 edits and I opposed until he got 2000+ edits. The 1000 mainspace doesn't seem to be as often required by !voters as the 2000 total. Some editors want to see a high number of Wikipedia namespace edits instead. I'd say that 1000 mainspace is starting to turn into a standard, though. Useight (talk) 23:33, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- No problem, ask all the questions you want, I assume you're possibly asking in order to find out how to improve yourself as an editor and future RFA candidate. We can always use more experienced editors and I commend you for taking the time to look into all these details. When it comes down to certain types of mainspace edits, you'll want to have a bit of a mix. If you have hundreds of "added a comma" or "reverted edit using Twinkle" in a row, most editors won't like that. Personally, I'm fine with "added a period" or "fixed verb tense", but I don't like to see an editor use Twinkle for all his/her work. Reverting vandalism is important, especially if you want to work in an area like WP:AIV. Adding sources won't really come into consideration. So, in short, the more well-rounded the editor, the better for an RFA. You'll probably also want to have a bunch of deleted contribs. Only admins can view deleted contribs, and I see you have a couple hundred, which is really good in comparison to how long you've been editing. Useight (talk) 23:50, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- Here's what I do. If there's a new message, respond to it. Then check my watchlist, noting mostly edits from IPs or new accounts and edits that changed the size of the article drastically. I also take a look at WP:UAA and WP:AIV to see if anyone should be blocked. Obviously, only an admin can take care of that. I also check CAT:CSD to see which articles need to be speedy deleted. Again, only admins. I also check Special:logs for new users that have made contribs (if the contrib is good, I welcome them, if it's bad, I warn them). Another thing is to check Special:newpages and mark them for speedy deletion if necessary or check Special:recentchanges and revert vandalism. I also like to sometimes go to WP:BACKLOG and find the backlog of uncategorized pages, find the appropriate category in WP:QCAT, and categorize them. As for my mainspace contribs, I am a member of four WikiProjects (Nintendo, LDS, Harry Potter, and NFL) and I work on articles within the scope of those projects. I also tend to spend some time checking WP:RFA. There are tons of things to do; I've logged over 5,000 edits. Useight (talk) 01:41, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
