This page contains a comprehensive list of geo-stubs at the national/territorial level. It is not intended to include subnational units such as states or provinces except in those cases where the geographic separation of these places from their home country makes them seem, to some eyes, "separate nations". This includes, for example, Gibraltar, Guadeloupe, and Guam.
All of these templates have their own categories except where marked *U* (upmerged to named category), *R* (redirect to named template), or *N* (no template). Underpropulated categories are also listed (see note below). For approximate numbers of articles using each of these stub types, see user:Grutness/Geo-stub tallying.
Underpopulated categories: An underpropulated category is one with fewer than 60 stubs, where a subcategory is equivalent to 10 stubs (i.e., fewer than 60 stubs, fewer than 50 stubs but with one sub category, fewer than 40 stubs but with two subcategories, etc.).
