[edit]Filipino cuisine is composed of a variety of dishes. It ranges from traditional foods that are already there even before colonization, to and mix of foods from our country and from other countries.
INTRODUCTION
[edit]Hello, we are Group Lightshine: B from Grade VI-Makadiyos and this is our group's Wikipedia. Here are the members of our group:

Now, let us dig into our chosen topic, which is our favorite Filipino dishes. Tara, kain!
FILIPINO DISHES
[edit]Adobong Manok
[edit]Adobong Manok is a Traditional food from the Philippines. Some ingredients used to create adobo are:
- vinegar
- soy sauce
- garlic
- pepper
- onion
- garlic
- chicken meat
- bay leaves
- salt
Also, the steps in making adobo are relatively easy. [1]
- In a pan, pre-heat it and put an oil. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic.
- Add the cut chicken in the pan.
- Season the food with salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Then, mix well.
- Add the water and the bay leaves in the mixture, and stir it.
- Wait for at least 20 minutes.
- After waiting, you can now put the soy sauce, vinegar, and a pinch of sugar.
- Stir well and let it simmer for a minute.
- Serve it hot and enjoy!
Lumpiang Gulay
[edit]Lumpiang Gulay is a traditional food in the Philippines.
The ingredients needed are:
- vegetables, which may include cabbage, carrots, and togue,
- wrapper
- minced garlic
- sliced onion
Also the steps[2] in making lumpiang gulay are the following:
- Put cooking oil in the pan
- Add the vegetables and stir fry for 2 minutes
- Transfer the vegetables and drain the excess oil
- Once the vegetables cool down wrap it with the wrapper
- Put the rolls in the pan until it turns into golden brown and flip and do the same process
- Put in the plate and serve with vinegar
- Serve and ready to eat
Chopsuey
[edit]Chopsuey is traditional Filipino-Chinese food. It includes quail eggs, chopped pig meat or pork giniling, and vegetables, such as sayote, carrots, cabbage, petchay baguio, and other ingredients you'd like to add.
And the [3]steps on making Chopsuey:
- Heat oil in the pan
- Saute the onion and add the garlic to be softer
- Add the soy sause and oyster sause
- Boil water for about 15 minutes
- Add the vegetables
- Add the boiled quail eggs
- Put in a plate
- Serve hot and fresh
