[edit]In 2001, he joined the US Navy. He worked as an antiterrorism intelligence specialist on the USS Kearsarge.[1]
Occultism
[edit]His publisher's profile says that he is "a practicing ritual magician", who "was initiated as a Priest of Anubis after a ceremonial baptism in the Nile River".[2] His Amazon author profile describes him as "one of the foremost occultists of the modern era".[3]
McHenry has produced a number of tarot decks, which were funded using Kickstarter campaigns. In 2019 he raised $500,000 for the original decks.[1] In 2024, he started an appeal to raise funds for a fifth anniversary edition that it is claimed "made summoning demons and angels easy and fun".[4]
Other activities
[edit]McHenry has hosted a podcast, been ordained in the Baptist church, worked in the film industry, and as a recruiter for telephone psychics. He wrote three books. He had two children, divorced his wife, and married a man.[1]
