[edit]Q: Where is the Thoreau Institute located?
[edit]A: About 20 miles northeast of Boston, at 44 Baker Farm Rd, Lincoln, MA 01773.
Directions:
(1) Take I-95 to Exit 29 and go west on MA Route 2.
(2) Continue approximately 5.3 miles west to the traffic light at MA Route 126/Walden Street.
(3) Turn left and go 1 mile south on MA Route 126, then turn left onto Baker Farm Road.
(4) The Thoreau Institute is at the end of Baker Farm Road (about a quarter-mile, in which you will encounter 7 large speed bumps).
Q: Do I have to register to attend, or can I just arrive on the day?
[edit]A: Advance RSVP is required. Due to the limited space, the only way to guarantee admission is to sign up. Space is limited to 00 participants.
Q: Do I have to be a member of Wikimedia?
[edit]A: No, this event is open to everyone.
Q: What happens if I get hungry?
[edit]A: Lunch will be provided by the Walden Woods Project. Food and drink are permitted in the [what do we call the Tudor house?], except the Living Room. Food and drinks are not permitted in the Library, where the Edit-a-thon will take place. [Jeff and Whitney: Please provide details for this section. Will we include breaks for snacks/coffee? Scheduled breaks or whenever participants want? Will lunch be the only food, or will we also have something when they arrive, e.g., donuts/bagels/fruit? Will there be some kind of reception at the end, and if so, will there be any kind of food/drinks there?]
