The Victoria-tower is a high-rise in the center of the city Mannheim. It became architect-office Albert javelin of that Frankfurt & partner gmbh planned and opens in May 2001. The creation of the building kernel resulted in 27 weeks. Per floor, 4 days were required for the construction. The area per floor amounts to ca. 1,000 ms².
For spectator, its glass cover and the Formgebung is marked. Its outline has the form of a rhombus. In that sharpen be angles staircase.
The Victoria-tower is in the quarter linden trees yard, in direct vicinity of the Mannheimer central station. It has a height of 97.0 meters and is seat the regional direction south west of the VICTORIA insurance. Even a height of 120 meters was original been planned. These plans could not be realized however Mannheim because of objections by the city-airport.
