Template for students on Wiki*edia Projects

Assignments for wiki Talk Pages should be clearly formatted to ensure a smooth assessment process. Some marks will be accorded to formatting and the organisation of information. Obviously, it should go without saying that poor formatting or incomprehensible writing on here will negatively affect the marks for the post overall.

So, formatting a New section on your User Talk Page along the following lines might work:

Wiki Exercise 1: Screen Time

Insert text here in response to the assignment.

Don't forget to sign and date your work with four tildes (~) which will appear like this: GregXenon01 (talk) 13:37, 5 February 2016 (UTC)

Failure to sign and date will mean that we cannot award marks to the student because the work is not identifiable (btw, don't forget to log in before any and all contributions otherwise we can't identify the author!)

Then, it might be useful to format a section for fellow students to comment on your post - something like:

Comments on Wiki Exercise 1

and write something in here to signpost to fellow students that this is their space to contribute:

Please insert your comments on my post here, and don't forget to sign and date your comments or they won't count!

Of course, you can enter into a dialogue with them on your User Talk Page
