Mismatch reports for Featured articles and lists
- fambot is a bot to create the report at Wikipedia:Featured articles/mismatches.
- gambot is a bot to create the report at Wikipedia:Good articles/mismatches.
- flmbot is a bot to create the report at Wikipedia:Featured lists/mismatches.
What it does

Technical
[edit]The bot runs from my local computer. It is in GNU awk and uses the WP:BOTWIKIAWK library.

Known troubles
[edit]- If the bot(s) ever stop working the most likely cause is a change in syntax at Wikipedia:Good articles/all, Wikipedia:Featured articles or Wikipedia:Featured lists. The bot parses these pages and expects a certain format. The functions are getlistfaa(), getlistgaa() and getlistfla() in fambot.awk, gambot.awk and flmbot.awk respective.
- If a page name is reported mismatched but otherwise looks exactly the same, check for hidden characters by deleting it from the source list (eg. Wikipedia:Featured articles) and manually re-typing - not copy-paste.
