Hi!

[edit]

Hi! I just noticed that my page regarding Pirates Online was deleted and read the discussion coming from it. I'm totally fine with the deletion and just wanted to clear this up with all users who were nominating it, so maybe if you could spread the word around! First: I didn't know you couldn't have your own personal pages with information, because I had seen other users with the same sorts of things on their personal pages (e.g. Brethren Court, etc.). Second: I wasn't aiming on threatening vandalism tags with everyone – there was a specific person, whose IP and various accounts (accused of sockpuppetry) had been personally harassing me and it was agreed between myself and a few administrators that the more he put my mainpage/talk pages, etc. up for speedy deletion, the more vandalism tags he would be given. Hence, I had posted a notice, specifically for him. I'm sure I should've been more clear about that. That is all, and thanks so much for telling me what I should've been doing, I didn't know I couldn't have my personal page on that. Hi, When you say "Fixed redirect", it looked more like "Hijacked redirect"! There were several incoming links which were not aimed at New Brunswick. I've made a dab page instead. When you fix redirects, please do a quick "What links here" check to make sure you aren't misdirecting any links. Thanks. PamD (talk) 12:45, 11 January 2009 (UTC)

Hi there. You were a participant in the discussion for this article, which I closed as delete. I restored and relisted the article at AfD yesterday. I notified most participants, but somehow missed you and a couple of others. Please accept my apologies. The discussion is here. RE: Patrick Goodpaster

[edit]

I did a Google search on Goodpaster, it looks like he checks out. The article as it stands now is better than the first edition as well. I won't be taking any more action with the article, thanks for letting me know. TheLetterM (talk) 07:54, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

I have rewritten this article and fully cited it. I hope you can read over it and share your thoughts. • Freechild'sup? 16:00, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

Renzo Gracie is himself quite notable in his field. I have attacked the article with a fervor and provided sourcing for the film from those qualified to offer opinion for his film in relation to this popular niche sport. Thanks for bringing it to AfD. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2008-09 Israel–Gaza Foreign involvement

[edit]

I completely disagree with you that this topic cannot be neutrally presented. Foreign funding of a State is clearly a neutral, encyclopedic topic, that if it warrants its own article should deserve it. This article isn't. It is a WP:POVFORK attempt to eliminate the material on Iranian involvement from another article.--Cerejota (talk) 04:34, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Early close of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nancy Snyder

[edit]

Regarding the closing of this AfD, I think the reason for close should be changed to WP:SNOW instead of withdrawal of nomination. Because Schuym1 still favors deleting the article, it is not eligible for speedy keeping the article via withdrawal of the nomination. I still think it's reasonable to close the discussion now instead of letting it run the full five days; however, the close could be challenged as technically improper. Let me know what you think; if you'd like, I'll add a "admin's comment" below your close message, or you can just revise your message yourself. —C.Fred (talk) 23:04, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
