About me

Some of my hobbies include hiking, swimming and camping. I tend to do quite a bit of camping throughout the summer time because I love to take a refreshing break from the city and my phone. Surprisingly, the importance of having an internet connection while camping has gone down from 37% to 29% since 2017. I found this quite interesting considering we are glued to our phones nowadays. While camping I usually go to hikes close by or find somewhere to swim. The reason I like camping, hiking and swimming so much is because I grew up doing a lot of this so it has become a part of my summer time routine. I really hope people learn to find interest in these activities as much as I do.

My wikipedia interests

If I'm active on Wikipedia in the future, I'll probably write about cool camping spots and maybe even more about camping and its history. I really hope to educate people more on how fun and healthy the activities could be and I hope to even change their mind on the idea of camping if they are unsure whether they should try it out. Article Evaluation

Growing up there was always one band playing in the car; that was Nirvana. My dad listened to Nirvana everywhere we went so certainly I became a devoted fan since hearing it at a young age. I visited the Nirvana page on Wikipedia and found three aspects worth commenting on: citations, its incompleteness, and neutrality.

Citations

There are many citations on the page which really helps you get a better understanding of each aspect that played into Nirvana's creation. Also, there were no dead links which was nice because I had access to each article I needed. In total, all the necessary citations needed to form a better understanding of the timeline of Nirvana were there which really helped the quality of the page.

Incompleteness

When it comes to the completeness of the article I feel that there are some things that were left out. I feel like the article should have talked about Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's relationship more. I feel like Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love had a very interesting relationship and there could have been a little more elaboration on that.

Neutrality

I feel that the article was very neutral and didn’t buy into conspiracies of Kurt Cobain's death. I feel like there are so many reasons to buy into the conspiracies due to an abundance of “evidence”, however, the article really stayed neutral so you can focus on the facts and key-points.

Summary

Overall, I feel like the article did a very “good” job depicting the formation of Nirvana through the large amount of citations and neutrality. I feel like the only thing holding the article back from being a “great” page was the lack of elaboration on Kurt and Courtney's relationship. I think the quality of this article is good for anyone who wants to grow their knowledge of Nirvana.
