Amber Renae is a notable Australian fashion stylist, designer and television personality. She is known for her appearance as a contestant on Arena TV's Project_Runway_Australia_(season_2). Since the show ended, Amber has been a guest on Australian television show Morning’s with Kerrie-Anne and the Dave and Kim show as well as on popular Melbourne morning radio show Hughesy and Kate on Nova FM. She is currently a presenter for Fashion TV Oceania.

EARLY LIFE Amber studied a Bachelor of Civil Engineering at the University of Queensland. Throughout her degree and upon graduating she worked as a Construction Engineer for Leighton Contractors.

CAREER

Clothing Amber left Leighton Contractors in 2002 to manager her own clothing business called ARX. The clothing was stocked alongside other brands in stores in Australia, New Zealand, United States and Japan. R Amber received a lucky break when in the summer of 2004 Paris Hilton requested a showing with her whilst filming the movie House of Wax on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The ARX brand was also worn by Olympic swimmer Geoff Huegill during the New Generation fashion parade at the Australian Fashion Week in 2004. Amber was appointed to the Selection Panel of the inaugural Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival.

Project Runway Australia Amber is best known for her appearance on Arena TV show Project Runway Australia Season 2. Whilst she did not feature in the top contestants, she was recognised as one of the personalities on the show.

Appearances Amber has quickly established herself as a media personality and television presenter, interviewing well known personalities such as Pat Rafter, Sneaky Sound System and Kerrie-Anne Kennerley. R She is the resident reporter for Fashion TV Oceania and has interviewed many of Australia’s leading fashion talent including Dion Lee, Kate Sylvestor and Manning Cartel

Amber has also appeared on Nova FM’s morning show with Hughesy and Kate and co-hosted the xx show with Hayley Pearson. She has also recently co-hosted Mike Goldman’s drive show on c913FM.

Styling Amber enjoys sharing her knowledge and hosts Stylist Workshops. R

ACTIVISM In 2009 Amber joined the Cancer Council as an Ambassador in support of Girls Night In. R In 2010 Amber showed her support for the LGBT community in Sydney, Australia, by devoting her time to Sleazeball in support of the annual gay pride parade and festival. R
