Liet International 2020 was planned to be the 13th edition of Liet International, and would have been organised by Stichting Liet and the Council of Europe. The contest would have taken place on 3 - 4 April 2020 in Aabenraa, Denmark, however, the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Twenty regions would have participated in the contest, which would have been the highest amount ever. The regions of Alsace, Carinthia, Northern Germany, Heligoland, Southern Schleswig, Southern Denmark, South Tyrol, and Tatarstan would have debuted. The regions of Asturias, Burgenland, Catalonia, Canton of Grisons, Isle of Man, and Sardinia would have returned to the contest, while the regions of Antwerp, Aromanians, Jura, Komi Republic, and Suriname would have withdrawn.
