Enrique Nash (born 1 March 1990) was born and raised in London, England and is a pro-windsurfer who has competed on a professional level since 2008. In 2009 he was ranked 24th in Europe at the European Freestyle Pro Tour.[1]
Enrique has been passionate about windsurfing from a young age, a sport introduced to him by his British father, James Nash, a former county champion himself, and his Spanish mother, Isabella. A natural-born athlete, he fell in love with windsurfing the first time he tried it and ever since his promising career as a windsurfer has escalated rapidly. Enrique has developed a wide range of skills in high adrenaline water sports, such as surfing, kitesurfing and wakeboarding, but his true love will always remain with windsurfing, and his dream is to become world number one by 2012.[2]
During the winter, Enrique often travels to ski resorts in Switzerland and Austria, however he recently suffered a broken leg after attempting an audacious move during a freestyle competition in Hawaii and has been unable to compete professionally for over 6 months.[3]
