Callaway Youth Soccer
Overview
Callaway Youth Soccer is a Recreational Youth Soccer club run by Amber Musser, Brent Harshbarger and Richard Rigby aiming to provide a fun, safe, learning environment for children aged 3-16 years of age. Callaway Youth Soccer is based at the Callaway Recreational Complex, Panama City.
History
Callaway Youth Soccer was originally formed from a previous YMCA project that provided similar aims and objectives for young children in soccer.
Arsenal and Junior Arsenal
Callaway Youth Soccer has grown quickly in the time that it was created and has an established successful Under 14 travel squad "the Arsenal" that scrimmages against other soccer clubs in and around the Panhandle and outer areas. The Arsenal has had success in tournaments they have competed in.
In 2011 Fall season Callaway Youth Soccer recruited Challenger Sports Coach Glenn Richardson of Milton Keynes, England to run and co-ordinate the newly formed "Junior Arsenal" to develop younger players understanding of scrimmages and better technical ability.
