Biography
[edit]Irish Toothache began in 2003 when a group of Baltimore friends--Skeltz, Tup, Muth, and Stubbs--started recording raps. Some were freestyles, some were funny songs, none were serious in any way. As they progressed, they began to take their music more seriously. Skeltz met Edub in college, and Glaze was brought into the group through Stubbs. They are responsible for every aspect of their art, from writing to production and even produce their own music videos and webpage. They also write, record, and produce an annual Christmas album. They have performed with such artists as Bubba Sparxxx, Basshound, and 66 240.
The name irishtoothache was created by Tup. Other names considered were "Sexy Astronauts", "The Talented Mr. Poop", and "God's Mistakes". A year later, they found out that irish toothache means boner in some European cultures. Tup claims he didn't know about this when he created the name, but the group thinks that it's a really funny coincidence.
