Articles I am interested in contributing to for class:
1) Choctaw Trail of Tears - this article is very short and does not have many citations. I think I could add more detail to the different stages of Choctaw removal, more information about each of the treaties mentioned, and a more thorough account of the aftermath. I also think it would be interesting to try to find information about conditions during the removal or to create a map for the page.
2) State of Sequoyah - this article is interesting because I've never heard of the State of Sequoyah and I would love to research more to contribute to this article. It seems that the claims made in the article are well supported and meet all the standards for Wikipedia, but the article is still very short and I think a lot more detail could be added to improve it.
3) Indigenous Peoples Council on Biocolonialism - this article is also very short and highly related to research I've been working on for the past few semesters. I could add more information about the history of biocolonialism and provide more information about the protests of the Human Genographic Project and the Human Genome Diversity Project.
HEY Holly! This is Karissa, how ya doin? Excited to read all of your brilliant edits and input this semester. Deitkm (talk) 02:06, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
