Hello!

My name is Gabrielle Stylianides, but I usually go by 'Kalli'. I am from Jasper, Indiana; a small town about and hour North East of USI, where I attend school. I am a full time student. My major is Photography and my minor is Journalism. I hope to someday become a photojournalist for National Geographic and travel the world. I currently work at Logan's Roadhouse but during the summers I return home and nanny two children. My favorite sport is swimming. I do not have a lot of time for TV but my favorite show is Workaholics and movie is Pulp Fiction. During my free time I like to workout and hang out with my friends and family. Adopt a Journalist assignment

• Comm 192 (Fall 2012)
• I'm writing my first article about Rima Maktabi (living person) from Lebanon and her role in covering the 2006 Lebanon War, as well as her later journalism career with Al Arabiya and CNN. This will be my first article in Wikipedia.
• A classmate is writing about Najwa Qassem (living person) who also covered the same war and worked at Al Arabiya.
• Another is writing about the role of female journalists in that war.
• And yet another is writing a about Layal Najib, a female journalist from Lebanon who died while covering the war (See: List of journalists killed in Lebanon).
