Lucy Alexander (born January 1971) is a British journalist and newsreader, best known as the face of ITV's London Tonight, as the co-host of the ITV News Channel's Breakfast programme and as a weekend newsreader on Sky News.
Career
[edit]Lucy Alexander started her career in BBC radio in 1996. In 1998 she moved to Anglia TV as a reporter and then became a co-anchor of Anglia News West. She moved to London as a reporter/presenter on ITV's London Tonight and soon became the face of the evening news programme, co-hosting with Alastair Stewart. Lucy moved to the ITV News Channel in 2003 and co-hosted the 24 hour news channel's Breakfast programme with Andrew Harvey. She went on to be the weekend newsreader on Sky News. Lucy has won a Royal Television Society "Best Newcomer to Television" award.
