Jonathan Piesche (born October 13, 1987), known as Jon Sine, is a German music producer and DJ. He is based in Düsseldorf, Germany and is the founder of the music label AXSENS. He currently is under the umbrella of the record label Found Frequencies operated by the Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies.

Jon is also known for his YouTube channel with more than 131,000 subscribers. His Deep House track, ‘All About’ was released in 2016 and has gained more than 3.1 million streams on Spotify.

Early Life

Jon was raised in Düsseldorf, Germany, where he began visiting local clubs and live music performances. At the age of 14, Jon started his musical career by collecting Hip-Hop vinyl records under the alias DJ Sine. When he began to experiment with Electronic Dance Music, he changed his artist name to Jon Sine.

DJ & Producer

After three years behind the decks, Jon wanted to not only play music but to create it as well. He began to produce music which he would test in his livesets, which soon led to his first official releases.

In 2010 he released his first song, Toulouse followed by various releases on labels including Get Physical Music, Kindisch, Soulfooled, Emma Music, Suara, Save Room Recordings, Hope Recordings, and Soave Records.

Jon Sine has several released songs that have received over a million plays on Spotify. His biggest hits are the deep house track Dawning, released in 2016, and All About. Both tracks have now more than 3 million plays.

Jon Sine has played as the resident DJ in the Silq Club, the boathouse in Cologne, and at venues like Parookaville, World Club Dome, and Melt Festival.

His recent songs About You and Do To You – released in February and June of 2021 on Soave Records – helped build on his previous success. On July 2, 2021, the new collaboration track Watch Me Burn debuted under the label Found Frequencies with Jon Sine and singer/songwriter NIKITA followed by Save the Day feat. Robin Vane.

AXSENS Record Label

Since he established himself in the music scene, he decided to start his own music label called AXSENS, on the one hand to publish his own Songs, but also to support aspiring artists like the Noisegeeks, Garry Ocean, and Spuds.

bigUNDERGROUND Radio Show

In 2014 Jon Sine helped develop and run bigUnderground, a radio show at bigFM. This show took listeners on a journey through electronic music and club culture. Jon Sine presented the latest tracks from deep house, progressive house, tech house, nu disco and techno in the first hour. Guests would talk about their latest releases, influences, and the DJ scene during the second hour. Popular guests that have been invited are: COYU, MANDY, Robin Schulz, Alle Farben, Claptone, Phonique, FRITZ-Kalkbrenner, Oliver Koletzki, Sharma Jey and Wankelmut.

YouTube Channel

On November 11, 2015, Jon Sine created his first YouTube inviting his fans to follow along through his journey as a music producer and DJ. The channel has gone viral several times and now features more than 131,000 subscribers. He reports daily on how he produces his music, the challenges of the music scene.

In 2019, Jon gave a lecture at Dancefair on how to creating a Vocal House Track and how to find your own way in the music industry.

He is now daily vlogging for more than 5 years.
