The Tennessee Literary Project
[edit]The Tennessee Literary Project is an attempt headed by Middle Tennessee State University to compile a comprehensive list of the state's authors and their biographies, bibliographies, and interviews. The project is headed by Dr. Randall Mackin, professor and author. [1] Their partner organization, Humanities Tennessee, uses the database to aid in the project's goal, increasing awareness of the state's current authors and literary history. Humanities Tennessee uses the student-generated content in conjunction with Chapter 16, an online journal that serves as the state affiliate to the Center for the Book at the Library of Congress. [2]
