Steve Hawkins is a senior official with Auckland Transport. In January 2015 Stuff.nz described Hawkins as Auckland Transport's Chief Engineer.[1]

Previously he was the Design Manager for Auckland Transport's City Rail Link.[2][3] Radio New Zealand quoted Hawkins in July 2013 when Auckland Transport opened a $100 NZD million storage depot for new vehicles.[4]

In 2014 Hawkins was a presenter at a conference in Auckland on Automatic Train Control.[5]
