Emma Hansen is a Canadian author.[1][2][3][4]

In April 2015 Hansen was close to term with her first child.[5] Days before her expected delivery date her child developed a complication - a knot in her child's imbilical cord - and she delivered him stillborn.

Hansen had a large number of social media followers, and the CBC News reported she received worldwide support.[5] Hansen started to lobby for other women with fertility problems.[1][2][3][4]

Hansen successfully delivered her second child in December 2016.[6]

In 2017 Hansen signed a book deal for a book on fertility issues.[4] Her book, entitled Still, was published in 2020.[1][2][3]
