Audrey Alexander is a fellow at George Washington University's Program on Extremism.[1] She has special interest in women and extremism, and the use and abuse of social media to spread or counter extremism.

On May 29, 2017, the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Committee held its first annual open meeting.[2] Alexander was one of the seven experts invited to address the meeting. Her presentation was entitled "Tech & Terrorism: Understanding the medium of the Message".[3]
