Garland Berenzy is a freelance lighting technician based in Brooklyn, New York. He has been working in film and television since 2014 and has been working in commercial video since 2010, at the young age of 14. His credits include television series such as Orange is the New Black, Power, SNL and independent films such as It Comes at Night and Super Dark Times.

Garland is an enthusiast in various fields including entrepreneurship, decentralized finance and blockchain technology, computer science, electrical engineering, film producing, digital industrial systems and music production. Garland is also a self-proclaimed egalitarian.

He is involved in several online communities such as Harvard's CS50 community, the New York grip & electric community, Wikipedia, various sub-reddits and Discord servers.

Garland is currently pursuing a software company startup that would support the film industry.
