Buddhism in Peru is a minority religion. According to a 2012 Pew Research Center report, 0.2% of Peruvians are Buddhist.[1]

Buddhism existed in Peru for a long time before local converts were attracted.[2]

Vipassana meditation in the tradition of the Burmese Theravadan teacher S.N. Goenka has a presence among Peruvian converts.[2]
