Elizabeth Rosemary Ziar (née Rowe; 18 December 1919 St Ives, Cornwall - 29 November 2003 Penzance, Cornwall) was a Cornish artist and author. She was known for her distinctive watercolour paintings and her depictions of Cornwall.
She attended the Penzance School of Art under James Lias from 1936 to 1941,[3] getting first class results in her examinations in 1938,[4] when the Second World War interrupted her studies. In 1945, Ziar returned to painting at the St Ives School of Painting under Leonard Fuller.[3]
Her painting have been displayed at the Camborne School of Mines,[5] St Ives Library.
