Human Science wiki

Currently I am working on establishment of Human Science wiki: Knowledge from a Human Perspective -- as if people mattered!This site explores hundreds of universal principles of accomplishment, development, management, evolution, life and consciousness that can be applied to enhance knowledge and achievement in a wide range of fields. The site consists of 12 portals covering fields ranging from economy, environment, governance and business management to life, personal accomplishment, psychology and spirituality. Special projects focus on the extension and application of these principles in specific areas, including a theoretical explanation of the method advocated in the best selling book The Secret, the scientific significance of EM (Effective Microorganisms), the character of life as revealed in Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice, The Internet as an Instrument of Human Evolution, theory of how money is created and can be multiplied for human prosperity, alternative theories of creation based on consciousness as the basic reality, theory of peace, nuclear abolition, and employment. Human Science starts off where encyclopedias end to explore fields and concepts that are not yet accepted by mainstream science or society. Contributors to Wikipedia who have ideas and insights that go beyond established and accepted 'knowledge' in specific fields are invited to explore and contribute to Human Science wiki.

My background and work

Vice-President of The Mother's Service Society, a social science research institute in Pondicherry, South India, engaged in research on economic and social development, management, psychology, and education, where I have worked since 1973. Projects include theoretical research on social development, organizational theory and money as well as studies for the Indian Planning Commission’s task force on Vision 2020, the Prime Minister’s Office and state governments.

Executive Director, International Center for Peace and Development, Napa, California, the successor organization to the International Commission on Peace & Food (ICPF), which conducts research on strategies to promote global peace and development since 1995. From 1989 to 1994, I was Member-Secretary of ICPF, convener of ICPF’s working groups on Employment and on Transition in Eastern Europe, coordinator of the ICPF research team that evolved a strategy to generate 100 million new jobs in India, and editor of the Commission’s report to the UN entitled UNCOMMON OPPORTUNITIES: Agenda for Peace and Equitable Development.

I'm also a management consultant and partner since 1987 in [http:www.mirainternational.com Mira International], a consulting firm providing management guidance to firms in a wide range of industries in the USA, Europe and India. My work includes assignments for small, medium and large corporations on strategies to elevate corporate values, accelerate growth, and improve profitability. I am co-author of two books on the process of corporate growth: The Vital Difference: Unleashing the Powers of Sustained Corporate Success, and The Vital Corporation: How American Companies Large and Small Double Profits in Two Years or Less.

Elected a Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science in 1994 and appointed Chairman of the Academy’s Standing Committee on Peace and Development and a member of the Board of Trustees in 2004.
