Kevin Adell is an American businessman from Detroit, Michigan. He is currently the CEO of The Word Network, WADL TV, WFDF (AM) and the Adell Center development.

Early life

Adell was born in Birmingham, Michigan in 1966 and attended Birmingham Groves High School. After graduating from high school in 1985 Adell attended Arizona State University where he graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.

Career

Following his graduation from college, Adell returned to metro Detroit to found WADL TV with his father Frank Adell.[1]

He founded The Word Network in 2000, an African-American religious television network.[2]

Adell is also CEO of WFDF (AM), which now has over 30 on-air hosts.[3]

Adell owns Adell Center, the former home of the Novi Expo Center, and plans it for a mixed-use development with commercial buildings for business offices and a restaurant.[4]

Personal life

Adell collects classic cars,[5] antiques, antique boats[6], and professional baseball memorabilia.
