Son Of Dad is an Australia ska punk band from Adelaide, South Australia, best known for there song "Lost". The band had there last show February 7th, 2014, but a recent post on their Facebook hints at them reuniting[1]. The band formed in 2005 and released their first EP "Just Another Ska Band" on January 1, 2006. In 2009 they resealed two EPs, the first was a split EP with The Hoodoo Voodoo Dolls[2] and the second a Live EP "Straight Outta Brompton" with most of the songs either from "Just Another Ska Band" or that would later appear on their debut album "The Best Life" with only one song exclusive to this EP. "The Best Life" was released in 2013. Their website sonofdad.net is currently down as of 8/11/15.
Other Son Of Dad
[edit]In 2013 Jackson Pollis of the band Real Estate created a side project also called Son Of Dad that is often put on the same page as the Ska bands works including their MySpace page[3].
