A rewrite of the plot summaries in the list of Sonic X episodes, improving on problems such as past tense, inconsistent tense, omitted plot details, incomplete summaries, and unclear language.
This is based on the English localization by 4Kids Entertainment. I have currently viewed 40 episodes and have rewritten/reviewed 4 summaries. The full series is officially available on YouTube here.

In a battle, Sonic the Hedgehog destroys Dr. Eggman's Energy Amplifier, powered by the seven Chaos Emeralds. This causes a huge explosion, a result of a phenomenon known as Chaos Control, which sends Sonic; Eggman and his fortress; Rouge the Bat; Cream the Rabbit and her pet Chao, Cheese; Miles "Tails" Prower and his biplane, the Tornado; Amy Rose; and Knuckles the Echidna to Station Square, a city on Earth. Sonic wakes up in the middle of the city and starts running down the freeway to look around. The police try to catch him by deploying the Speed Team, led by Formula One car driver Sam Speed, but he outruns the team and escapes; however, he falls off the road and into the pool of a mansion. Sonic, who cannot swim, is saved by Chris Thorndyke, a young boy and resident of the house. | |||||||

With Chris' and Chuck's help, Sonic infiltrates the base and rescues Cream and Cheese, reuniting with Tails in the Tornado on the way out. The President authorizes the assignation of an undercover agent, Mr. Stewart, to spy on Chris, becoming his classroom's teacher. At home, the news reports that the green Chaos Emerald has been found at a construction site, its energy causing machinery to malfunction. Sonic, Tails, and Amy set off for the site. Dr. Eggman, also seeing the report, selects his giant robot bird, Beacon, to help him retrieve the Emerald. After seeing his friends fight Eggman, Chris leaves class and retrieves the Emerald from the construction site. Of course, no one in the house except Chuck knows about them yet, so they try to keep it a secret somehow, even from Ella and Tanaka. Amy wishes she could have come with Sonic while looking out at the ocean. At that time, Dr. Eggman appears at the ceremony and goes on a rampage with his robot to create Eggman Sea Park. When the amulet she was going to give to Sonic is destroyed, Amy becomes furious and defeats the robot, but falls into the sea. | |||||||

Due to Chaos Control from episode 1, Rouge was also sent to this world. Rouge is a jewel thief in this world. At that time, the presidential office was plotting a plan to bring Sonic on board to overthrow Dr. Eggman. They then spread a false rumor that a Chaos Emerald had appeared, and tried to capture Sonic. Rouge ended up being caught in the trap. The government told Rouge to become an agent of the president and infiltrate Dr. Eggman's base. However, when Rouge finds the Chaos Emerald inside the base, she tries to take it away and gets into a fight with an Eggman robot. | |||||||

In the presidential office, plans were being made for an attack on Eggman's base. A presidential envoy visited Chris' house and asked Sonic for cooperation, but negotiations failed. He decides to hold a victory party for Sonic and let the press take pictures of him shaking hands with the president so that his popularity will go up. Immediately, he sent Sonic an invitation. Chuck buys new tuxedos for Sonic and the others. However, Sonic had something to do. In fact, he had an appointment to meet with Helen, a girl in a wheelchair who is a classmate of Chris'. Sonic rushes to the scene, but he can't reach the high-flying Egg Fort, and Chris and his friends are fretful, wishing they had the X-Tornado to reach it. Tanaka had loaded it onto a trailer. The team searches for the Chaos Emerald, and they find a sunken ship from the Age of Discovery. In it, they find the Chaos Emerald. In Oriental City, Knuckles seeks out and reunites with a treasure hunter man called Hawk. The two escaped from the dungeon and rode in a wheeled taxi to the hiding place of a Chaos Emerald. There, the wheeler-dealer from earlier appeared. It turns out to be a female ninja robot sent by Eggman. An epic battle begins between the female ninja robot and Knuckles over the Chaos Emerald.
