Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress?
[edit]Sure. While I don't seek out drama or focus on controversy, neither do I shy away from them. I wouldn't be applying for the mop if that caused me stress, since being involved in (and resolving!) conflicts is a noticeable part of what admins do.
Here are all the disagreements I could find in the last 6 months. None were very serious and all resolved. I hope I was a part of resolving them constructively rather than destructively, even if some didn't close the way I'd have preferred. That's the important thing, not "winning".

[edit]- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Countering systemic bias#Bias in ‘Task’ instruction - Is there systemic bias against government sources? Probably discussed too long here, nothing productive after a while.
- Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Countering systemic bias/Gender gap task force#Gender neutral language for articles on women that do not identify as non-binary - a project member makes dozens of short articles on NZ female academics, but only uses "they" pronouns. Several of us try to convince him to use "she"; he refuses, but says he won't revert it if someone changes. So I take the task on myself. Two dozen so far, working. --GRuban (talk) 02:08, 11 September 2018 (UTC)
