Hey there,

I'm relatively new on Wikipedia although not so new to some of the concepts. I am Director of OurMed.Org, a medical wiki site that's looking to add a physician verfication mechanism along with a bunch of other features that will serve healthcare professionals and consumers.

My background is in International Business for large companies (Bosch/Germany, Lehman/UK, EDS/Japan, ANA/New York, Cablevision/New York, Revlon/New York). About 4 years ago I founded The New York Dance Parade and grew to respect non-profits and volunteer organizations.

In my free time, I enjoy salsa and a movement practice called "The Five Rhythms", skiing, hiking and travel abroad.

Am very excited about the open source movement with regard to Medical Information. OurMed is working with a web developer to roll out a new site later this year. More information about our plans here.
