Hello,
I am a staff member in Northeastern University’s Marketing department. I propose the following edits to the university’s Wikipedia page, primarily to reflect the most accurate, up-to-date information.
1) In the first paragraph, add “San Francisco, California” and “Vancouver, Canada” to the list of campuses in the fourth sentence. Also in the first paragraph, update the fifth sentence to remove the part about the Vancouver campus soon opening because it has now opened (and referenced as such in the previous sentence, per my proposed edits). The updated fourth and fifth sentences would read as follows: The university has satellite campuses in Charlotte, North Carolina; Seattle, Washington; San Jose, California; San Francisco, California; Toronto, Canada; Vancouver, Canada; and Portland, Maine that exclusively offer graduate degrees. Northeastern recently purchased the New College of the Humanities in London.
2) Under Academics, please change the Accreditation section (5.13) to the following, to update the organization by which Northeastern is accredited: Northeastern University is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education.[1]
3) Please remove the Satellite Campuses section (2) altogether. The university’s satellite locations are already listed in the introductory paragraph. The Satellite Campuses section also contains other information that is out of date, inaccurate, or already stated elsewhere.
