Moustapha Saya Kaigama is a public figure in Cameroon. He is a Deputy, member of National Assembly Bureau and activist of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM). He Comes from Mbam and Kim Division (Centre Region). Moustapha Saya Kaigama is an Entrepreneur. CEO of Saya SARL (International Trading, Information Technology Agrobusiness), and Head of the "Vùté" Community of Yaoundé.
Biography
[edit]Moustapha Saya Kaigama was born on 4 th of August 1981 in Nanga-Eboko. Muslim, native from Yoko's district, he is the Head of the " Vùté" community of Yaoundé. Cameroonian politician and Entrepreneur, he is married and father of several children.
Son of Tagnineing Aoudou; politician and Yamenga Georgette, he quickly understood the importance of faith, forgiveness and solidarity. A fervent Muslim, but also close to those of other Christian denominations, he practised his first Ramadan fasting at the tender age of 8.
Training
[edit]Moustapha Saya Kaigama’s school and academic career goes smoothly. Indeed, he gets the first school leaving certificate in class 5 in 1991 and the GCEAL of general secondary education option letter and German as second language. His academic training is crowned with the acquisition of many diplomas from state and private universities in Cameroon and abroad :
- 2001 Bachelor's Degree in monetary and banking economics from the university of Ngaoundéré.
- 2003 Master’s Degree in economics and management with an end of course project entitled, « strategic management of information and sustainability of a micro finance institution league (CAMCCUL) in the central African catholic university.
- 2007 Diploma of « space program management and satellite technology applications » from the China academy of space technology.
Political career
[edit]Moustapha Saya Kaigama got interrested so early in the management of polical issues, this justifies his presence and his activism within the Cameroon people’s democratic movement (CPDM) polical party of President Paul Biya, where he has been an activist since 2005 and becomes treasurer of the Mbam and Kim North section in 2021. Under the cap of a politician, held by the hand of his father, politician himself he achieved a brilliant and laudatory career. Adorned with experiences and commitments, he very quickly went from being a simple grassroots activist to being elected by the nation to the Cameroon Parliament where he held several positions : Deputy, secretary of the National Assembly Bureau, President of Argentina- Cameroon inter- parliamentary friendship group and Treasurer of the Parliamentary Network for the Diaspora and Decentralized Collectivities.
His political trigger occured After his encounter with President Paul Biya during an exchange in 2006 at the Beijing summit. The President had motivated him to be tough in his activities. To materialize the momentum of this wish, the Head of State granted several hearings to some of his business partners at this summit. When you are present with the 19,000 inhabitants of the Department of Mbam and Kim and have models and sponsors like Minister René Emmanuel Sadi, then supervised by Madame Le Senator Nicole Okala, you can only be among the best in your environment!" Moustapha Saya Kaigama has always admired the patience and wisdom of president Paul Biya, the importance he holds to peace and solidarity of his country Cameroon.
So attached to values such as empathy, compassion, sharing and forgiveness, Moustapha Saya Kaigama understood very early that there is no happiness in being happy alone. Close to people and a fervent practitioner of proximity politics, this young " Kimois leader" has undertaken numerous social works in all the non-lucrative associations to which he belongs.
The decryption of his name refers to : a warlord(Saya) first dignitary from the palace (Kaigama) chosen by God/ God's elect (Moustapha). Was he predestined as a leader given that he was born on the same day as former US president Barack Obama but 20 years later ? That is the question.
He hopes to be able to make the best contribution to the development of his country while making Mbam and Kim Division one of the most important Agro-industrial area in central Africa thanks to the several potentials of this department and his passion for agriculture.
Professional career
[edit]The solid academic training of Moustapha Saya Kaigama will allow him to quickly climb the socio-professional levels as soon as he returns to Cameroon in 2007.
Starting from a simple trainer in CAMCCUL, he will work for 7 years in China as business development officer in Liaoning Jinpeng export-import.
In 2008 he created the company NETCOM COM SARL, in 2009 SAYA AGZ GROUP. He is equally a development consultant in many international companies such as the China Great Wall industry corporation, Google, Yahoo, Mark Monitor, Petrochina Semptian, Sony China, Enom.
He links many partnerships around the world for many African countries, met many Heads of States, at the same time passionate about agriculture, international trade, business development consulting and ICT. He founded the company NETCOM in 2008 and SAYA SARL a year later. He continues on this great momentum by contributing to the creation of Youth employment opportunities and to the development of Cameroon.
In his status as traditional Ruker, Moustapha Saya Kaigama took the problems of the "Vùté" community in Yaoundé head-on, thus establishing himself as a cultural promoter. On February 2018, he organized a cultural evening called « Vùté Cultural Awakening » at the esplanade of the National Museum of Yaoundé.
Awards and prizes
[edit]- Member of the global parliamentary code of democratic conduct, Moustapha Saya Kaigama received on January 2022 a prize for African Integration for Best Action in favour of the population of Mbam and Kim Division and Best Parliamentary revelation of the 2020-2025 legislature, awarded by the Cameroon/Senegal association for friendship between the peoples of Africa.
- On 25th of January 2022, the association « President Biya's youths » ( PRESBY) awards him the special prize for peace in Cameroon.
