Team Baleful is a professional esports and entertainment organization, headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, United States. Founded on March 16, 2020, the organization has players and creators around the world, across multiple platforms, multiple games, and genres of entertainment. In 2021, the organization expanded into the broader entertainment industry, expanding beyond just gaming and working to garner an audience in numerous areas of entertainment.

History:

Team Baleful is a relatively new organization in the eSports and entertainment industry. Originally Cass founded a team under the name of Team Depraved in March of 2020. He later partnered with Nubs, and ultimately acquired Team Baleful, a competing team in the space at the time. Both Cass and Nubs worked extremely close with each other prior to the team, and the two formed a perfect partnership to pursue this new business venture. Cass was an entrepreneur at heart who always dreamt of being a business owner. Cass studied mathematics, chemical engineering, and physics in college, but felt as though he found his true passion after getting involved in esports. Nubs was an avid gamer growing up and actually first introduced Cass to the world of esports. Together with the knowledge and business savvy of Cass, and the personality and gaming background of Nubs, Team Baleful was born. After the merge between Team Depraved and Team Baleful was complete, the team saw quick growth and made a real impact within the community- accumulating now over 55,000 followers in the first year of their existence.

Current:

In 2021, Team Baleful is making huge initiatives to expand beyond just their singular social media presence within the gaming/fortnite space, and far beyond even being entirely gaming focused. Team Baleful is quickly making a name for itself in the broad entertainment industry with numerous top creators on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook gaming. The team also secured its LLC, officially marking itself as an official international organization, and as of June 2021, has begun its early round A investment stage. Through numerous interested investors, Team Baleful is aiming at moving into both competitive gaming and also becoming an umbrella entertainment company.
