The 2009–10 Loyola Marymount Lions men's basketball team represented Loyola Marymount University in the 2009–10 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Lions were led by head coach Max Good in his second year leading the team, and his first full season after taking over for Bill Bayno following Bayno's resignation as head coach in January 2009.[1][2] Loyola Marymount played their home games at Gersten Pavilion in Los Angeles, California, as members of the West Coast Conference.

The Lions finished conference play with a 7–7 record, earning the 5th seed in the West Coast Conference tournament. Loyola Marymount won its first two games in the WCC tournament, but was eliminated in the semifinals by Gonzaga.[3][4]

Loyola Marymount failed to qualify for the NCAA tournament, but were invited to the 2010 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament. The Lions were eliminated in the first round of the CIT by Pacific, 86–76.[5]

The Lions finished the season with a 18–16 record.
