About this Voter Guide - Arbitration Committee (December 2015)
[edit]This "high signal / low noise" voter guide to the December 2015 Arbitration Committee elections takes a different approach by keeping in the spirit of assuming good faith (WP:AGF) and civility (WP:CIVIL). I'm listing those whom I support and will not be going into the particulars of those I am not.
Full disclosures: I have met Gamaliel, GorillaWarfare, Keilana and Kirill Lokshin in person and have worked productively with them and trust their judgment to have Wikipedia's best interests at heart. For the others I am supporting, I believe their experience and reputation in the community speak for themselves and they provide thoughtful leadership in this area.

Note on voting
[edit]Voting for arbitration committee uses a Support/Neutral/Oppose method of voting, which has the characteristic that oppose votes are more powerful than supports. Neutral votes do not affect the outcome in any way. I encourage you to use the voting method strategically to amplify your preferences and always vote either support or oppose, and not neutral, as a successful candidate must have a ratio of over 50% when support votes are divided by (support+oppose) votes.
