Future Gamer was an online magazine, deliverable by email launched by Future_Publishing in 1998 with Andy Smith as the editor. FG as it became known to fans, was the first move by a major publisher towards online magazines in the UK. It ran for about 18 months before finally being reshaped into Daily Radar, later gamesradar.com. FG spawned a close online community and a poor quality Half Life clan.
