Selected Poems

[edit]
1. The Monday morning Blues

Monday Morning Yawning Yearning Tearing Toiling Towards the Dark Sky,

High in the Horizon the lighthouse of night started to ride the clouds of Shy,

Sighed by hide of the moon to bloom the unripe orange in the bold old sky,

Flewed the time along the train of veins submerged in colorful thoughts of high.

Rained as notes in the abstract thoughts to make choir tangible with the notes,

Which floats without letting to darken the chamber of light to rest a while,

Mile before dreaming the paradise filled with nothing to be jolted up by the choir,

Waiting for the notes to perform the opera of the future by the touch of nurture .

Filled the space of nothing to something which slowly painted to the canvas,

Of the veteran of learning to enter the abstract world above to pick the chisel,

To sculpt the statue of wisdom to engrave the stature of learners in mortal realm,

Makes the chiseling hand to craft the epitome of mastery emitting wisdom rays.

Like frequencies of knowledge scattered in the abysmal space of race in the maze,

Filled with the chorister spectating the legacy engraver chiseling on the statue,

Virtue of the master revealed when the spectators becomes audience without ordinance,

Marks the craftsmanship of the sculptor who did not build ozymandias to fall.

But to fall above in the victories of humankind to fill the vacuum of knowledge,

As a guide who won't hide like the moon but luminate as the cloud rider even in day and night,

As bright as the ripe mango marching into the room of Twilight with a bright smile,

Hiding the unspeakable and filtering the speakable for the dear listeners to shine.

2.The Mosquito

The Supreme species known to rule the boundless lands with fierce, conquering all on the path,

Stopped the unstoppable force from shading more boundaries to his growing map kingdom,

Caged the beasts into the cages taming them to the sages to the taunts of the people gazing,

Roamed as wind across the will of feet until the sole of foot had no prairies to surf among the thorns,

Hunted by bullets more than daggers on the fleet of time with purpose of hunting devoids from hunger to plunder,

Caged the extinct creatures for humanity unleashed before an imbalance of artificiality in nature,

Entering into modern century after the monochrome smokes of blasts unveiled the hidden flying needles,

Rapid shifts in the course of history, fearing the future and yearning the past for power of present,
Smoke, smoke, Smoke, smoke, Smoke, Smoke, Smoke, Smoke, Smoke, Smoke! everywhere,

Emerged the flocks of billions unchanged for million, years of evolution from the thirst,

Hunted the hunter for the blood that spilled by many hosts narrowed the target, marked as sapiens,

Evolved by inhaling the smoke to fuel the wings and sharpen the needles to build their cradle,

Swarmed the swamps of the hunters and multiplied into unstoppable force ravaging for its thirst,

Caged the humans in the nets of spores landed with choppers of needles waiting with a knock on the door,

With buzzing whistle all the night to open the door for the fearless hunter to quench a few drops for thirst,

Day by day on the ticking clock of blood the landing choppers on the net increasing to watch their pets,

Gazing the lying humans with taunt of frequencies undecipherable to the ears of humans hating with angst,

In the helpless situation the caged humans in mosquito proof fence looking submissively at the unstoppable,

Grey shaded antarctic with smoking fumes of freezing smoke is the only boundary to the mosquitos,

Until when the humans walk with their burning soles, melting the deep ice, waking the frozen giant needles.

Proving that nature can devise a devour play of insignificant thought species to significant symbol of FEAR.

3. Whispers to lala land

In the garden of desire, where emotions bloom, Lies a tale untold, on proposal days sweet perfume. A symphony of whispers, soft and divine, Where every touch of language, on lips does entwine.

Upon this canvas of passion, a delicate dance, Eyes weaving verses, an intimate trance. Ruby red petals, a language so sweet, In the language of eternity, two hearts do meet.

Whispers of longing, like a gentle breeze, Caressing the soul, bringing lovers to ease. A sonnet of emotions, on lips do inscribe, A journey of love, where two spirits vibe.

In the silence of the heart were, stories unfold, Of a love profound, more precious than gold. Each word unspoken, in the lingering air, On the day of courage, a celebration so rare.

So, let the first move towards journey of love to the la la land begins with the token of rose, An Archetype of irrefutable token of love. In every stolen moment, a sonnet is born, On the day of acceptance where the real The journey to love land has begun.

4.The Temple Inside

I walked along the streets of a famous city which is covered with temples,

All along each and every street with numerous temples crowded with peoples,

The sorrow of the people are dumped into the altar of the temples,

Which rejuvenates it into positive energy filling their minds with happiness.

The divinity of the temple reflected in the entrance and exit of the temples,

People enter inside with burdened heart and mind and search for the solution,

And at last loosen their burden to divine power by expressing their inexpressible,

After expressed to the supreme power the eyes widen, the muscles loosen,

And the people exit the altar with a lightened heart and mind with satisfaction.

The divinity echoes in the chambers poured by the people to the passive listener,

Where the thought arises whether it's the role of the celestials or the Perception,

Of the humans mind triggered when the burdening thoughts are expressed to someone,

The answer for it takes a few more metres until reaching the dwelling of the outcast.

Outcasted not by the people but her people whom she borne left her to suffer alone,

But the burden like the people who visit the temple is not visible in the frail women face,

Walking more closely to her crumpling mansion where a dozen of hounds crosses me and runs inside,

Amazed by the number and charity of the women to feed the hounds even when pecuniarily frail.

Struck the answer to the mind that temples can be anywhere and the divine one is the person one who cares.

Research Interests

[edit]

Suryakanth K B delves into the realms of transhumanism and future studies, exploring the delicate balance between humanity’s aspirations for technological transcendence and the ecological imperatives that tether us to the Earth. His work seeks to unravel the complex fabric of identity in an age of rapid technological evolution, advocating for frameworks that honor the sanctity of the individual amidst the promise of integration with the machine. With a keen eye for the convergence of science and philosophy, he examines the ethical dimensions of chimera, Allo humans bioethics,Animal Studies and the future evolution of humans, drawing wisdom from the ancient currents of Indian Knowledge Systems. In his research, Suryakanth envisions a world where humanity, poised on the threshold of its next great evolution, must tread lightly, respecting the old while embracing the new, crafting a future where identity is preserved, not erased, and the natural world is never left behind.
