I've always been a big advocate of dispassionate analysis and the scientific method and wish people would be able to apply those things to politics. I believe political irrationality is the greatest threat to humanity's continued existence. Psychological processes, such as confirmation bias, that undermine our ability to see accurately and evaluate things rationally must be confronted in a democratic society. Wikipedia fundamentals like neutral pov etc help people train themselves to overcome these psychological impediments, and therefore I wish everyone would was a wikipedian.
