I am by profession a lawyer; I specialize in international business law and in this capacity I circulate (a bit too much for my taste, perhaps) between Central Europe, the US and Canada. In my spare time I am also a journalist, with a special fascination for the political underpinnings of official science, and the mechanisms whereby science establishes itself as its own opposite - a locus of dogma and irrationalism.
